Coming Soon: Cubscast Designer T-Shirts

As announced in today’s episode, we’re very proud to present to the world our first ever “designer” t-shirts soon to be available for the low price of just $15 each, or three for $40, which includes shipping costs to anywhere in the U.S. Ah, but what about taxes you might ask? Fear not, we don’t pay ‘em, and neither will you. Take that, Washington fat cats.

So you’re probably wondering, why design and sell t-shirts when you are already independently wealthy as the proprietors of a multi-billion dollar podcasting network? The answer is simple- the recent announcement of the Apple iPhone was a major blow to Cubscast and the Chicago Sportscast Network. You see, our team of engineers and designers had us just days away from presenting to the world our own smart phone with mp3 player and touch sensitive control screen when Steve Jobs decided to shoot off his big mouth and steal our thunder. Yes, the iPhone has ruined the market for the C2P2 (Chi-Cast Pod Phone) which would have run on the now defunct SneetchSpeed platform.

Out the millions we sunk into the development of the C2P2, we figured the best way to make that money back was with t-shirts. They may not be as fancy as the iPhone, but they get much better battery life.

We have received the first batch of shirts and they all look wonderful, truly high quality screen printing and quality materials. We can’t wait to share them with the world, so stay tuned.
