I got it worse Sneetch. I got home from work an hour after game time and started watching the DVR. By the top of the 8th I was about a half hour behind "realtime" and my cable box rebooted itself. Sidenote: Time Warner Cable in Dover Ohio SUCKS! Back to the story, when the box rebooted itself the score was 0-0. When the system came back on I had lost about 40 minutes of the game. It was now the bottom of the ninth and I had just missed Fukudome's HR and Wrigley going crazy. 6 month's of pent up anticipation turned into pure rage... that didn't get any better when the Cubs ended up losing. I am the ultimate sad sack.

I feel for you! That happens to me all the time. The more you don't want to know it seems the more people will ruin the results. Plus, people think it's funny to give you hints when you have asked them to NOT tell you ANYTHING! Morons!

While you were avoiding the game I was live blogging it. This is possibly the one advantage of having a night job. I get screwed with ever other sports team that I follow but with the Cubs games days I get to watch and get some cheap tickets to weekday games.

poor, poor, sneetch! as a person who tries to avoid people in general, i sympathize with your dilemma. but didn't that whole double rain delay screw your taping anyway? (i like your desktop...i had you pegged for a stonehenge guy myself)
