“The Hall of Fame Game is about something much bigger than the 2008 Chicago Cubs"

Out of curiosity, what the hell IS it about? Making some teams play a game that doesn't count in the middle of the summer on a field with no actual historical significance?

Sheesh, from the way she's talking you'd think that the Hall of Fame game was played in memory of a bunch of orphans who died of AIDS during a war.

I've never regretted living in Chicago as much as I did when I realized (after Jennifer's comment) that the Tribune Corporation pipes Matlock to the masses while simultaneously broadcasting Maury Povich to the local crowd.

Ugh. Pickles.

The poor kids living near the Hall of Fame get no game and their pickle factory in Pittsford is closed. Or wait, maybe that second thing is good?
