As announced by Brenda on today’s episode of Cubscast, we’re happy to mark the beginning of a brand new contest for our listeners that is sponsored by FanThreads.com. The premise is simple: this month we’re collecting the best and brightest Cubs slogans, naming finalists, and holding an open voting session to determine the winner. The winner’s slogan will have their shirt printed and sold on the Cubscast and FanThreads websites, as well as receiving the shirt and a share of any profit from the sale.

It’s easy to participate. First, create a free account on the FanThreads site and then submit your slogan now through September 14th via the contest page on the FanThreads site.

The Cubscast hosts (along with some help from Brenda, the Fantasy Experience Auction Winner) will select 5 finalists and during the week of September 15th-21st, everyone will vote to determine the winner.

We know that many of you have submitted slogans and t-shirt ideas to us in the past, so we think this will be a very fun contest for all of the witty Cub fans out there.
