Maximum one entry per person (contestant). Once you submit your entry, it is considered final.
Prize
First prize, to be drawn at random on February 16, 2010, is a $200 StubHub gift certificate. In most cases, this should allow the winner to purchase at least two great seats to see any Cubs home game this season, even if it is "sold out" at the Cubs box office.
If you are able to buy more than 2 tickets, great. The gift certificate is yours to use how you see fit.
Contest Length
All entries must be received by Monday February 15, 2010. Any entries received after that date will be null and void.
Announcement of Winner
The winner will be announced on the Wednesday February 17th's podcast, the day that pitchers and catchers report to Cubs Spring Training in Mesa, AZ.
Our Liability
We are not responsible for the inability to purchase tickets to any certain game. We do not guarantee the location of any tickets you purchase, or the availability of seats to any certain game. We are not involved in any transaction between the contest winner and StubHub, or any contestant and StubHub.
How the Winner is Picked
Each entry is assigned a number upon receipt. A number will be selected at random by the Cubscast hosts using the website http://www.random.org/. If this website is unavailable at the time of the drawing or unable to provide a random number for any reason, we will notify all entrants and redraw using another random number generator.
Your Privacy
We will never sell, trade, or give away your contact information and/or e-mail address for any reason. Our goal in doing this is only to raise awareness of our show among Cubs fans. We will send each contestant one (1) e-mail before this baseball season inviting you to listen to our show and/or participate in an additional contest at that time.
We hate spam, and you probably do, too.
